WHY
VOTE?

Why is the EU important to universities?

Studies
The EU safeguards the right of member-state citizens to study in any other EU country on the same terms and conditions as in their own, and facilitates and promotes this mobility through the ERASMUS program.

Research
The EU enables trans-border academic cooperation and research into various societal issues such as health, climate, and energy, and invests in the supporting framework programs for research and innovation.

Academic Freedom and Fundamental Rights
The EU advocates and stands for academic freedom, which is inextricably linked to democracy, the rule of law, and human rights, and guarantees these principles in the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights.

If we surrender Europe's leadership to its declared adversaries and populist movements, we endanger not only our universities, but also European peace, prosperity, and our personal well-being.

This is why we need a strong European Parliament. Give it your voice and vote!
